I saw the thread title and came here to post the same thing. I actually stopped reading all news the same time as you for health reasons. Anytime I opened up a news site I would feel my heart rate increasing in anticipation of being angry. It's not healthy and people who obsess over news and politics, left or right, are all miserable people.
