It’s easy to say this now, but if you do make it to old age you don’t wanna be a retard with nothing saved.

I don’t know anyone under the age of 40 who isn’t a retard who thinks social security will exist in 20 years.

It’s also about giving it your family like the other guy said.

I'm just making sure I have enough savings so that when I'm inevitably wronged by someone in the future, and deranged to the breaking point, I'll have a seemingly endless amount of money to use on retribution of the one unfortunate individual. I'm assuming it'll be a like a multiple season TV version of this film:

Obviously I'm talking about saving in the context of that you're white and not an idiot about living perpetually in debt. Saving for general quality of life for your family should be a given. Its the unnecessary saving for splurges that does fuck all for you once you're old.

When do you ever have time to do anything exciting in your youth? I just don’t get the time to do much with my money. I also just don’t care anymore, what am I gonna do? Travel doesn’t excite me, buying stuff doesn’t excite me.

I’m not being facetious, what am I gonna do with my money now I’m still in my 30s? I’m not gonna quit my job and surrender 10 years of seniority to backpack the world and find another when my money is gone or anything dramatic.

Nice life, stupid

"I dont have time" is bs. You cant think of any way that would be fun to blow money? Then that money is going to be useless for you your whole life. Probably nothing excites you because you never considered it.

I work 5 days a week and have to be on call often as well for out of hours network failures, I get 15 vacation days because I’ve been here so long. Do I really give a shit about flying somewhere full of fat tourists to spend my money on them?

I did some travelling when I was 18-26, I’ve basically been across all of Europe and worked in Germany a year.

Why would I throw away my career for more time to travel? And if you don’t mean travel, what do you mean? I have a respectable car, I have a nice apartment in a nice area, I have the things that I’m interested in, a decent gaming set up, a few guitars and audio stuff - a model building desk set up, and a library of books that I’m into.

I’m not being difficult, what are you suggesting I do with my money beyond saving it for a rainy day? I go out drinking when I want to, and buy coke when I want to. I’ve slept with about 20 women, and taken them on vacations, to fancy restaurants and to clubs etc - I don’t give a fuck about doing that anymore.

I’m failing to see what you’re advocating for. If you aren’t spending this time building a nest egg and a comfortable career position, what are you going to do when you’re middle aged and have 10 years or whatever to earn enough money for the entire rest of your life?

You dont wanna go and eat shitty food, hand-crafted by a nigger with aids in a foreign country, before having sex with a nigger from that same country? But like, they're all doctors and engineers. They need love to.

The only thing that I would like to do is visit beautiful vast landscapes, I love that shit. I want to see nature in all its desolate glory, but when the fuck am I gonna get time to do that? And why would it be better to do it when I’m young as opposed to older?

I have absolutely zero desire to visit “fun” places across the globe and waste all my money on them. They’re literally all run down shitholes full of Africans and Arab rapists now. All of Europe and English speaking countries are. I don’t want to go to Thailand and fuck kids, the scenery is nice but it’s better across the west anyway without the harrowing poverty and child prostitution for Paul Weimer’s.

I don’t want to visit the Middle East or Asia for obvious reasons.

I don’t want to chase women and getting laid, I’ve done that enough to realise it’s hollow, pointless and fleeting.

I’m seriously struggling to think of a single thing this guy is alluding to.

No one saves (let alone invests) for their future and then they are bitter and make it society’s problem. I see 60-85 year olds constantly who whine and bitch about the cost of their healthcare and say “but I’m on a fixed income!!!!” “Why isn’t there a government program to take care of this?!?!”

1) maybe you should have taken some basic care of your own health for the last 50 years
2) what gave you the idea that you have a RIGHT to someone fixing the consequences of your actions?
3) yes you’re on a fixed income. You can calculate what your social security payments will be. You never thought to look ahead and consider what life will be like on $800 a month?

I do give, I do it joyfully and privately.
Ok well if you save more then you can give even more. And if you save enough that you can retire early then you can give your time, too. Or more of it if you already do.

They’re also the only ones who will get social security and those programs, if you’re relying on it in the future you are massively retarded.

“But I paid into it so it’s mine!!!” - all of the money was long wasted on nonsense policy you voted for, and even if it wasn’t, on average you consume what you put in after 6 years.

It will at best be means tested for us, and if you’re Joe Cumia you’ll get food stamps and ghetto housing.
