I think that guy was a little deranged. Remember his comments about being on top of The Super Dome during the Katrina looting? The movie didn’t make much sense either. He was starting to get into some combat situation while on a satellite phone with his wife. I get that they threw it in for dramatic effect but it really took me out of it.
