Seems like Santa Muerta is condemned by the church proper so yeah that's not good but the days of the inquisition are long gone so it's not like there's going to be any temporal punishment for it. Day of the Dead isn't condemned and that makes sense - praying for the dead is a Christian tradition. It's kind of a wash tbh.
