I haven't listened to the radio since the late 90s so I was unfamiliar with Wolfmother (apparently it is not "Wolf Mother" like Pat wrote). I just listened to this song on youtube and what a pile of bland shit. It's like a menu screen song for Madden 2009. Also Pat's walk up song would be this:

I’m not a fan of Swans but I wouldn’t call it bland generally speaking. It’s just ugly.

One of the best bands I ever saw live, and I've seen a lot, child.

I like this Wolfmother song :giggle:
Saw them perform it live like a decade ago just after they'd released it.

You might be onto something. I've never heard of it either, and saw this comment on the video for it:

I think this song just might be licensed out to a bunch of different corporate products and Pat heard it in some capeshit movie or video game or something and thought it rocked harder than anything he had ever heard in his life.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pat found it through some kids movie, he hasn’t listened to any new music since he graduated high school. He only discovers stuff through capeshit.

In popular culture

"Joker & the Thief" has been featured in several films, video games and TV shows including The Blacklist, The Hangover, Shoot 'Em Up, NHL 14, Rock Revolution,[5] Jackass Number Two, Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 2, Here Comes the Boom, MLB 07: The Show, Need for Speed: Carbon,[6] Shrek the Third, Lego DC Super-Villains, Preacher and The Man from Toronto. It is also available as downloadable content for the music video game series Rock Band.

The song appeared in the Green Bay Packers' video package at Super Bowl XLV.
Drunk fake sports guy Pat heard the song in relation to a sporting event.

Since the team won, he also undoubtedly takes personal credit for the victory.
