Terry was innocent but that was the humor of jocktober. She is a very nice lady doing small market radio and having fun every day in her life. All of a sudden a bunch of degenerate psychos and actual pedophiles are now ripping on her like she is satan in human form. Jocktober was like a mentally ill military operation against mostly normal people. It was the most extreme form of humor probably to exist outside of like actually killing people for laughs. There really has never been anything like it before or since outside of the O&A subreddit going after Joe and Anthony which is just an extension of O&A.
It was the ultimate absurdity of these lowlife shock jocks preying upon harmless people and harassing them into not being able to go into public or ruining their shows or social media. It was done purely for dark humor and nothing else. And a show that would destroy people during Jocktober could only end in total disaster (which Opie predicted and also knew that the pests would turn as well).
