Has it been a while since you listened? When i had it a year ago, there was a ton of dj talk. Every 4 songs some dumb cunt would talk for 10 mins about who the fuck cares what. On the heavy metal channel, they would do trivia for an hour or more. It was worse than regular radio

I only listen to a couple channels, I have noticed certain ones ramble about nonsense but the electro / dance seem to be very little talk. The 80s one has the old mtv VJ’s so they have to remind everyone they were on MTV a hundred years ago. The old school rap one has a couple female DJ’s that think they’re a big deal and can’t shut up.

I’m assuming the majority of their subscribers are business’. Whether it be a car rental place, or Target. I doubt their talk radio is much of their market. Especially with podcasts. OnA tried to fight doing podcasts at first, then the opester realized it wasn’t going to happen and tried to push podcasts on their channel. Sirius didn’t even bother to try. My guess would be it’s not worth it to them, since talk radio can you get bad press, which effects how they get their money. They turned down a show with Tim Dillon, Nick Mullen, and Luis Gomez. Tim and Nick are probably bigger than stern at this point (I don’t mean overall, but currently there’s no way they’re not), and Luis has his own fucking network.
