Why do people donate to wealthy twitch streamers or people's patreons when they don't have to? Because there are so many people in the world that inevitably some of them are going to donate. If you have 100 drunks getting free booze, a few of them are going to spend money voluntarily just to support the venue/business. I wouldn't pay for onlyfans but I will buy an overpriced concert tee to support a band I like. Or a CD when I could've just downloaded it for free.
