Never understood tattoos. My brother got the word England tattooed on his arm when he was a dumb 18 year old. Now he's a 30 something middle class jet setting high flying type with the tattoo of a thick as shit builder. I call him England. It annoys him and his HR wife so I even drew it on my nephews arm.
Even when talking about your brother you're a braggart. You must be bald or fat.

I don't have tattoos, but mostly because I'm too cheap to get one.

Crazy the way society flipped on the issue since I was a lad. Adults use to warn us not to get tattoos because it would be hard to get a job. Now, good luck staffing a business if you turn down people with tattoos. The tattooed have made bigger gains than the LGBT.

Millennial women are consistently found to be tattoo'd at higher rates than millennial men, in case anyone is wondering if tats have jumped the shark
I hate to do a stereotypical "well actually" post, but 100 years ago virtually everyone associated with the flapper culture was tatted out - its not a new thing, women do and always have loved graffitting themselves.

None. Only actual tough guys got tattoos back then - gang members, active duty military, cons/ ex cons, and pro wrestlers and they sure as shit weren’t getting some Lord of the Rings quote scribbled around their muscleless arm.

I was a 5’6” economics major who aspired to work in finance so I wasn’t going to do that bit.

Feel free to post any evidence at all that there was a time in the United States where women were tatted at higher rates than men up until recently
