I stopped listening when the AGT era began but kept up via the HowardStern subreddit. The last truly great thing to have happened post Marci Turk was the Brent saga. I didn’t listen to it when it was happening but someone posted the Brent omnibus and it’s pretty funny. I don’t even keep up with the sub anymore. Booooring.

Dude I don't know. I've known at least 2 people in my life that were outspokenly anti gay and then came out later. Self-hatred and all that shit. It may not be most fag-bashers but I don't think it's a myth.

Joey Boots and Captain Janks were very anti gay then came out. Then again for a while pretty much everyone on the show was anti gay, of course all that late 90s - mid 2000s stuff is long buried by Sirius (backside Boyz for example)
