My problem with a lot of this is it's mostly hearsay. The only thing I've seen that holds any substance are the Gary Caradori interviews with Paul Bonacci, Alicia Owens, and Troy Boner.

I've softened on the four movie after considering how many communists he killed in it.

It's total fucking hearsay. It falls back on, "They were trying to promote violence against children... by making a movie that children and adults found scary." The fuck?
And every 6 weeks someone wants to bring up Heather Rourke and this stupid rumor. She died in February of 88. That episode of Rocky Road aired in May of 87, so would've been in the can... late March of 87 at the earliest? The timeline they're alleging between the episode and her death doesn't really work.
