When I was a sophomore in high school, I did a talent show with my band

Everyone was forced to sit through your boring shit and act like it wasn't desperate attention seeking. You were universally hated for one day then forgotten about forever. It's the worst possible outcome for everyone involved and you should feel guilty.

I thought I was free of that shit when I left school but then girlfriends take you to see dumb shit. They always have some friend that needs a crowd for some reason. Anyone putting on a live performance that sucks should be shot on stage as a warning.

I love you but I honestly would have beat you up for no reason. I literally used to wear a shirt that said "emo sucks" on it. I was a caricature of a metalhead. I don't even hate emo at all. Rx Bandits fucking rule. I was a faggot.
RX Bandits are great. At The Drive In and Drive Like Jehu sound emo-y sometimes but they rule. Choke are Canadian emo fags but they make good music.

From the Depths of Dreams EP is emo faggotry dialed up to 11 but I still listen to it sometimes.

We were an emo band. The song we played was the most pathetic, sad, corny, gay, white suburban rich kid drivel. I was the lead singer. I sucked ass. I sang in this gay affectation trying to sound like Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory. I didn't write the song though at least. But wow. There was at least 1,000 people watching, and I'm 100% sure they all thought I was a faggot.
And they were 100% correct

In 4th grade the movie Men in Black was popular. Me and my friend did a parody song at our talent show where we were in potato sacks and jumping around to the lyrics "We are the men in sacks...".

Possibly the cringiest thing Ive ever done, but it's a long fawkin list...
Some of you faggots are really young.

In 6th grade our school did a lip sync at the end of the year. We wanted to do "Come Out and Play" by The Offspring. We weren't allowed to, as they said it promoted gang violence, even though it's the exact opposite. Awesome reading comprehension from our educators.

Earlier in the year I thought I had lost a copy of "Smash" that a buddy had lent me and became concerned. After school my dad was like "hey come in my office for a minute." I thought I was in some kind of trouble. He gives me the Smash CD and informs me that the principal had found it in my locker whilst they were doing drug searches and he wasn't sure it was something my dad wanted me listening to. Of course I'd heard about them from the radio my dad had on.

Similar thing happened when a church lady saw me in a Blue Oyster Cult shirt: "is that something your dad would be ok with you wearing?" "well he was there when I bought it." This bitch was really unaware of BOC and their harmlessness? She was around in the fucking 70s.
