What's the last video game you were excited for and enjoyed?

Civilization VI was awful compared to V. That franchise is probably forever dead as well.

VI really laid the groundwork for fucking that game series in the ass. You can see exactly what direction they're heading in. VII is the first Civ game I'm not even going to bother with. They've already run out of women civ leaders so they're just going with anyone slightly noteworthy from history now. They are also getting rid of barbarians because that term might be hurtful.

Every winter I'll fire up Skyrim. Besides that I stopped playing. It's a waste of time.

The last one where I did the fag thing and went to a midnight release party at Gamestop was for GTA: San Andreas. I even bought the new PS2 slim to play it on and of course I bought the slim version/model that had the manufacturers defect of the power cable not connecting fully with the console, thus slightly moving the console would cause it to power off. Fucking cocksuckers.

The first Xbox I owned had a Thompson Drive which was a known issue and ended up dying with zero support from Microsoft.

Got the 360 at launch and immediately had a red ring of death when I brought it home an hour later and cried like a faggot because I was so upset I waited in line for over 12 hours in November rain. Ended up going though 4 360s all through warranty over the course of 2 years all due to red ring.

I didn't bother with Microsoft after the 360 and ended up getting a PS3 towards it's lifecycle and have had no issues with consoles since.
