You boys are lucky I record well into the night tonight, I can't sleep for shit.

So I have a love/hate with Jaws. I recognize its quality, don't get me wrong. It's well made. It's not a terrible story. The cinematography is excellent. The dialogue isn't outright insulting. But it set the template for the "blockbuster", much like Star Wars did, and despite some exceptions, blockbusters are mostly rubbish in my eyes.

I'm sure I sound like an elitist cunt, but I'll take a good Sherlock Holmes mystery film over a CGI space fest any fucking day.

For movies it was Pulp Fiction and than the phantom Menace is when movies started to really go to shit.


I like Pulp Fiction but every movie tried to copy it for years, even now.

Phantom Menace is the reason for all the remakes, part 4s, reboots, remakes…

The late 90s and more so into the early 2000s, movies really started to suck ass. Shit back then was going woke before woke was a thing even.

And besides a few different directors, most movies look and feel like shit. I couldn’t even tell you the last “funny” movie I saw.

And yea, transformers 2 and all the Batman shit really caused the current downfall.
