I always thought he meant he was going to grab them with his fat hands and hold them still for half an hour until the police arrive because he's retarded and cant think things through. Maybe apply some kind of mma hold that he doesn't know, but has a vague idea exists and will figure out in the moment when the time comes. He is that stupid. He totally thinks he is allowed to shoot people in circumstances where he isn't, but i thought the "immobilize" claims were probably just Patrick imagining that physical altercations are like movies where the hero just grabs the villain by the collar and easily holds them down while they pretend to try and escape.

He really believes what he has seen in tv/movies is how the world works because he’s had very few actual life experiences. He’s spent his whole life inside on the couch and rarely even interacts with other people. He thinks if he sees a “cyberstalker” in public he will be within his rights to assault them with some Steven segal style hand to hand combat followed by him immobilizung them (sit on them?
