The truth is much more sad. Pat humiliates her publicly by telling the world about her multiple mental illnesses, about the psychiatric pharmaceuticals she can’t live without, and a bunch of other private info that shows he has no respect for his wife. He speaks of her as if she is a mentally disturbed, emotionally damaged lost cause who can’t function without him. I genuinely think he’s convinced Niki she can’t live without him.
Pat just climbs on top three times per year and sweats all over her, finishes in 3 minutes for two of which he is soft, and then asks her if she finished too.
