Actual conservatives understand that politics is gay and just want to be left alone. They don't discuss politics.

I genuinely don't believe he's ever cared about politics until he realized being loudly woke left awarded people social currency, especially online. The few hot political topics that actually have some contentious debate within left-wing circles (like Israel-Palestine) he's entirely avoided because there's no good boy points to be earned.

If you're interested in politics from a traditional/moral pov, you can't talk politics in public bc your politics will necessarily ruin your life. You will invariably fall afoul of the Jews at some point. We're in a cultural moment where having the wrong opinion in the eyes of the Jew means not just that you're wrong, but that you're an irredeemably terrible person who should be shunned from polite society.
