Worth a listen.

The more I think about it the more bummed I get. Fuck.

I literally don't give a shit about any celebrity beyond maybe ten people and Norm is one of them.
He went out like a fuckin’ man. Never complained. Never sought sympathy. I hate that he died but I absolutely admire the way he chose to do it.

Look at Notaro leveraging her cancer for everything she could. Disgusting.

The textbook definition of a real ass dude.

He didn't want astroturfed sympathy from the public or anyone else.

I can't believe he dealt with that shit on and off for nine fucking years.

I need to say, when I read the thread title I thought it was The Hogfather tweeting more vague smug posting. That second I realized what this thread was actually about was not the best.

"I always told everybody the perfect joke would be where the setup and punchline were identical."

What I loved most about norm was he didn’t give a shit. He wasn’t trying to be an actor, he wasn’t about jumping on trends because he was so funny naturally. You can tell how so many comedians (who are notoriously bitter towards other comics) all looked at Norm as a god and someone they looked up to. I would love to know if his his close comedy guys (Sandler, Spade, etc.) knew because it sounds like it was kept only to family. He was a real ass dude
