It makes perfect sense, especially since hollywood is loaded with closet homos. Think about the kids who did theater in high school - it was all the fruits who loved musicals.

Agreed, and I think we all put on different “characters” at different times to get in the right zone or state of mind for stuff. But it has to get exponentially more difficult to maintain that when you are suspended from the ceiling in front of a green screen, pretending that you’re Iron Man.

At least the older guys like Brando spent the majority of their time acting on actual sets or in actual places so you could suck in the vibe of the environment. Actors today are basically acting on glorified zoom calls
