He was talking about how horrible he is at home repair, and how he always rushes his way through it and causes more problems than when he started. Pretty relatable subject, and a rare time where there was no wokeness/culture war talk. With Anth's background, you'd think they'd have a good back and forth. Nope, just Nana slapping the desk, looking over at the booth, and hooting. Proof that he can't even have a normal conversation that doesn't involve raging at blacks, or talking about old sitcoms. He doesn't even look at his guest when he's laughing at something they said. Broken faggot.

I never had a subscription but have watched a fair bit of the YouTube content. Early on when he had the old O&A comics on there were laughs to be had, the Opie stuff when it was fresh was funny, Artie & Anthony bashing Stuttering John was pretty funny as well, whenever Jim Norton was on would bring laughs, even the Opie phone calls had a few laughs in there.

Pretty much whenever he did something that was reminiscent of the old O&A days or included people from that universe it was funny and when he didn't then it sucked for the most part, imagine that.

Nana was never as funny on his own show as he was on o&a. Nothing about it played to his strengths. He's not a host or a funny guy on his own and nobody wants to see him on camera. He needs people to play off and he fucked that up for himself forever because he has the impulse control of a toddler.

Strongly agree with this. Anthony in his prime was an incredible second mic and could've done third mic as well but he's not the guy to steer a ship, that's why even today he is much more entertaining when being interviewed then on his own show.

That's something I noticed too. There was a whole period not too long ago where Gavin would co-host TACS and he acted like the real host. Coming up with subjects, steering the conversation, trying to keep a flow going. All Nana would do was drunkingly chirp out some agreements and holeeshits. The show still stunk, but the presence of a co-host made it all the more apparent how little fucking effort Anthony puts into anything.

Same dynamic with J&S. Sam tries to steer the ship and more often than not Norton gives him nothing to work with, to the point where it looks like he's stonewalling him on purpose. Both these old fruits have completely checked out. It's so laughable how you still get ballwashers living in 2014-2015, acting like Ant and Jim are these comedic masterminds who've been held back by that dastardly Opie. These niggers have been in charge of their own shows for roughly a decade now, and look what they did with them. They made the decision long ago not to be funny anymore but to pursue their hedonistic interests, and it's led them to obscurity. Compound Media is dead and buried and so is Jim's hacky prop comic podcast. J&S and TACS seem close to follow.

He is not a talented broadcaster without Opie leading him. Anthony solo is like when O&A would interview celebrities or big names, and they became these fake-innocent nice guys who reacted to every little thing the person said. That's what Anthony is now 24/7 with people he's known for decades.

He's self conscious about the camera, the fact that this person came down just to see him in his own personal space, etc. You can't be vicious to someone like that in your house.

Doing video in the first place was his first big mistake re: his retarded show. No one wants to look at Nana, and the vast majority of his guests weren't much to look at either. He's clearly camera shy, and he's constantly fidgeting and squirming around like a special ed kid, making those weird faces with the insincere contrived smirk he always does, like he's genuinely amusing himself. And, incredibly, it's worse now than it was ten years ago, which means Nana learned exactly nothing from hosting his queer show for ten years.

There are a couple of clips I saw with Kevin Brennan that I found funny. One was when he was hosting his show with a blind guy. During the show Bill Schultz, Flat broke Geno and some other people came in and sat in the bleachers. Of course Geno was being an asshole and after a few minutes the blind guy couldn't take it anymore and just started flipping out on him. What cracked me up was that you could tell that the blind guy genuinely hated Geno and wasn't holding it in any longer. Then while he's screaming at him they would cut to a shot of Kevin who you could tell was loving every second of it. Then there was a time Kevin and Levy were guests on Nana's show. Geno showed up and Kevin started going nuts on him for some reason. Nana just sat there uncomfortably while Kevin went after Geno. Geno had to hide behind Levy and Erock as Kevin tried to get to him. Kevin eventually grabbed his stuff and left but when he slammed the door shut it knocked the power out. Plus all the Redbar fucking with the compound staff was hilarious especially the Bill Schultz stuff

He sticks the neck of the bottle itself into his mouth, between his teeth, and pours the beer into his mouth like he's filling his car with windshield fluid. He also does this weird thing where he sticks the bottle into the corner of his mouth. He looks like a total caveman while doing it.
