None of these revival shows revive a show that ended before its prime. People seem to have forgotten that they all had 2 or 3 mediocre seasons before the end.

Malcolm In the Middle was running out of steam in its final seasons. They ran out of stuff for Francis to do. It was already weird that a main character was 3000 miles away, and his only function was to give a B story so they couldn't overwork the child actors. They brought in a new baby in the later seasons, which is always sitcom death.

That 70s Show had 5 great seasons, and never survived all the cast changes.

I got bored of the X Files in Season 5. I didn't even know it had 10 seasons

What other revival shows we got?
Frasier had a long run, can't remember specifically bif there was a decline in quality but they had definitely done most everything they could. They paid off the Niles and Daphne plot well before that

Tania Raymonde, the actress for Cynthia, grew up really pretty. The character was too good and mature for Malcolm, though.

Given how crapsack and demented the MitM world seems to be, and how the character dynamics played out, Reese (I keep fighting to spell it 'Rhys', the way it ought to be) would have made as much if not more sense to end up with Malcolm in their adulthood. They developed a codependent and fairly insular relationship as teens, one that kept almost everyone else including their other brothers out.

Hayden Panettiere and Emma Stone were recurring guest stars in the original, hopefully one or both will pop back for a twenty second cameo.

Besides Lost and Malcolm, all I can remember is when she dated Jeff Goldblum when she was like 19 and he was like 59.
