Mike Nelson is a quiet religious and conservative family man who was head writer of MST3K and later host during its golden era. TV's Frank probably seethes every time he's gratuitously allowed to take part in their RiffTrax or live shows.I forgot Mystery Science Theater had some real cringey libtards on it. Mike Nelson's a family man that does a podcast with his church but TV's Frank and the guy that did Crow's voice on the Sci-Fi Channel era are faggoty windbags.
Did they share a studio room? I remember Pig Gay Oinkerson frequently bitching about like a mug and maybe a dish with some crumbs being left in the room by the previous users like it was the ShoahOne of the funniest bits of the early Bonfire was Jay and Dan's ongoing beef with John Fugelsang.

Yeah Mike is definitely not sanctimonious about his beliefs and can poke fun at them. In Bill Corbett's defense, his final line for the The Last Slumber Party they RiffTrax'd was "see you later, FAGGOTS"! It has probably been edited out now or something, I saw it on their Twitch channel when they decided to just start streaming a bunch of them for free. There's moments on Rifftrax where some of Nelson's political beliefs bleed through with very "you have to be in the know" sorts of jokes. That being said, he never struck me as an uptight cunt about it, just very old school American conservative. And he can't be that pious, considering the harshest jokes from the Joel era through his were ALL FROM HIM.
Corbett doesn't bother me, but I don't follow any of them that close. Frank has always struck me as insufferable, though - very stuck up on his own ass, like a lot of writers. Josh Weinstein, the first Servo, isn't much better, but I blame that on him starting out as a kid.
I think when he started at KTMA with the rest of them, he was only 16. And Trace, Jim, Joel, they just couldn't put up with his attitude and energy, which is why they canned him after the first Comedy Central season.Yeah Mike is definitely not sanctimonious about his beliefs and can poke fun at them. Josh Weinstein though oof... those first seasons are rough and especially when Weinstein is acting onscreen.
Jay actually backhandedly shat on Yamanigga on a recent episode.Mike Nelson is a quiet religious and conservative family man who was head writer of MST3K and later host during its golden era. Speaking of the Bonfire, remember when they had Doug Stanhope and Yamaneegra Saunders on? Doug lobbed a softball of a question about if anyone ever regretted fucking her, probably trying to start some banter or riff but she completely shut it down, took it personally and ended up chimping out about racism or metoo. Doug ended up leaving but the Jay and Soder should have thrown that ugly unfunny nigger cunt who looks like Aughra from the Dark Crystal out instead.

Any time, little soldier.I was trying to remember where I knew that little dork from. Thanks for reminding me, Mr. Vigoda.

Just listened to that clip, it's tremendous.Speaking of the Bonfire, remember when they had Doug Stanhope and Yamaneegra Saunders on?
To be honest, I don't know if he's as bad as TV's Frank. Just remember some gay tweets whining about Trump. Agreed it was the best era by far and he was the better voice for the character. Never got too into Rifftrax. It's ok but can't match the peak. I think some of those writers on the Sci-Fi era that weren't the main performers probably helped punch up the jokes.I give Corbett a pass because the line up of him with Nelson and Murphy was the best line up there ever was. They were the funniest with the best chemistry and you can tell that they actually like each other cause all these years later they’re still doing Rifftrax. Rifftrax is by far the most successful venture any of those guys have done.
The new iteration was completely unwatchable.

Oh my dear God, she absolutely knows she's disgusting based on Doug's "...that you're aware of" answer to the has anyone regretted fucking you question. Granted, Doug was a bit merry for the room, she was on the wrong show if she can't take a light ribbing, not to mention it was a sarcastic comment but she seems like she's used to people plugging their nose and telling her how beautiful and brave she is. They really do drag some retarded people into that show.Speaking of the Bonfire, remember when they had Doug Stanhope and Yamaneegra Saunders on? That made me lose a lot of respect for them. They kept defending her after it happened too. Spineless.Speaking of the Bonfire, remember when they had Doug Stanhope and Yamaneegra Saunders on? What choice did they have? She starting squealing racism and, if I'm not mistaken, was also trying to accuse everyone in the room of setting her up by having Stanhope on and knowing nothing about him, while also calling him racist. The show was (is) already on thin ice, I don't think they also wanted to be accused of being racist and having the Stanhope bit out there out of context. That made me lose a lot of respect for them. Joel not funny? Boy. You think you know a guy.I have to say, I've never liked Joel. Yes this is his thing, but I don't find him all that funny.
