Love that fucking jam. Don't know much of their other stuff, besides their version of Spooky. I believe the guitarist and someone else was in Classics IV who did the original...that dude got a great guitar sound
This song is super boomery but it listen preddy gud.

Classics IV are great too, even though they just played "Spooky" sideways to make all their other attempts at hits. Didn't know that about the ARS connection.

I've posted before about how much I love The Beach Boys. People only seem to know them for their early surf rock, Stamos or that awful Sail On, Sailor.

They(Brian and sometimes Dennis) made some of the most inventive, depressing, creepy, happy music.

Fuck, even Bruce Johnston manages to write great shit when he isn't under the thumb of Mike Love.

I like beach boys might need to take a deep dive in.

Those Irish fucks put out 12 records, all of them fucking great, yet are still dismissed by many as a one hit wonder.

Metallicas cover of Whiskey In the Jar was on the radio so goddamn much...like 4 times an hour on every rock station. It's too bad Phil wasn't around to get those royalties, cuz holy shit. As lame as Metallica got, they did pick out some great covers to do for that thing. They did "Astronomy" by BOC and a couple other great ones.
