Maynard also can't sing anymore. He's always flat, and forget about hearing anything sung powerfully in a high register, let alone a scream. But then you go to the comments of any recent live Tool video, and it's all people talking about how amazing his voice still is. Makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills.I’m a huge tool fan…(faggot) I saw them in 2016 and they were great.
I saw them earlier this year and they were fucking terrible. It was like an hour long show and they were telling the crowd to cheer louder while playing all their shit music from their latest album.
Also that midget Maynard told the whole audience if we’re “good” they’d allow us to record the last song. Faggot.
I was listening to A Perfect Circle because I remembering liking their first album when I was 14 and suicidal about girls I never talked to in person. The difference in his voice from the first two APC albums to the recent ones is shocking. Dude sounds like an AI program. Weirdly flat, thin and whiney. I thought it was my memory playing tricks on me and he always sucked and I went back and listened to Tool's Opiate ep and it was not my memory. Maynard just fucking sucks now. That vineyard and bjj must of sucked all his testosterone out of him. That or he is a 60 year old manlet and time comes for us all.Maynard also can't sing anymore. Yeah, and live, he used to sound exactly like the album, if not better. You can pull up any live bootleg until about 2003, and he sounds incredible. Then he took several years off and was basically never the same, and just got progressively worse. I don't necessarily expect him to scream at 60 like he did when he was 20, but he shouldn't struggle with staying on key.I was listening to A Perfect Circle because I remembering liking their first album when I was 14 and suicidal about girls I never talked to in person. I first noticed something weird when the second APC album came out and there were a few instances where I thought I heard subtle auto tune. Maybe it was the song Weak and Powerless. I remember being crazy disappointed in the early 2000's with how he would pussy foot away from actually screaming on Ticks and Leeches. Outside of the first releases from Puscifer, Cuntry Boner and the World Up My Ass cover, that project and everything around it is the lamest shit on Earth. Puscifer is when I knew Maynard was dorky as shit in a bad way. He was gassing it up as this multi-media project with a brick and mortar store and it's everything all at once. Turns out it was just a shit side project to milk his fans dry.Yeah, and live, he used to sound exactly like the album, if not better. It was really bad. They don’t care any more and it shows.Maynard also can't sing anymore. He's always flat, and forget about hearing anything sung powerfully in a high register, let alone a scream.
