I think he’ll get lowballed on an offer then pretend that it was his idea to retire. Probably die within a year since he has no hobbies. Although to be fair he has always lived fairly healthy.

In the 90's he was very in your face when everyone else was a kiss ass. What the celebrity had to decide at those moments was basically sink or swim - get offended and look bad, play along carefully, or give it back and show you're not to be fucked with. Most did the middle routine, Conan cracked from the Jackie Puppet, and guys like Alec Baldwin fucked with him back and showed how quick he really was.

But at no point was he a good interviewer. Anytime he had a good one, the interviewee was the one pulling the weight. If Howard got them on a topic where they opened up, it was often by accident, in my opinion.

I was so glad that last book sold like shit. If that was a physical representation of his ego, the book would eat itself from condescension.

Howard was good at "interviewing" retards and misfits. He fucking always sucked at interviewing celebs.
