On the Jim & Sam subreddit there is a post showing that Sirius is advertising a Sam Roberts morning show so it seems J&S is done and it is now just Sam.

I personally find Sam entertaining but even for people who like him a show that is just purely Sam seems like a recipe for disaster.

From what I've read on the J&S subreddit and what I've read here it seems like Norton has been phoning it in for years at this point. My theory is either Sirius didn't want Jim or they were happy to retain him but at a salary so small that Jim doesn't deem it worthwhile anymore (75k - 100k?)

If you take away the fact that he was part of O&A and that Sirius is/was trying to retain whatever they could of that listenership he actually has very little upside. He's a washed up comedian and within comedy he was never A-List or even B-List.

Norton seems to be oblivious to everything when it comes to current events / pop culture (i think he’s only seen 10 movies total in his life and stopped listening to new music made after 1986) and is only interested in KISS and deviant sex acts with men dressed as women.
