"a character in this 1863 London novel can't drop a sugar cube into their cuppa"
Two seconds of googling says "cuppa" is from the 1920s, ie 60 years after this stupid book takes place, so it's nice to see Pat's research is paying off. What better person to wring out the verisimilitude of 1860s London than a fat rube from 21st century Wisconsin doing all of his research on Wikipedia instead of reading books.

This really highlights just how horrible of a writer he is. Most authors would sit down and have an idea of the how the story will get from point A to B and figure out who their characters are. Pig just thinks of an idea and starts writing without having an actual story or characters established. He's been writing this for 2 years and now just figuring out who the Villian is just embarrassing.
