Times where O&A got revenge on the haters

- When the Homeless Charlie thing went down, there was easily 2-3 days where nobody knew/heard/cared about it. However, Breitbart posted the story later that week, which sent it to the national headlines and got O&A suspended for a MONTH. O&A later got their revenge on Breitbart by getting the Anthony Weiner dick pics out there, which resulted in stupid Breitbart dying of 3 self-inflicted heart attacks to the back of the head. That's what we do now.

- When fatass Bubba The Love Sponge was trashing O&A to get closer to Howard, stupid Bubba said "if XM and Sirius merge, it's a deal breaker for me if O&A are part of the new company." Not only did the companies merge and keep O&A as a bigger featured show: But after the merger, the big boss Mel Karmazin guested on O&A -- They played the audio of Bubba calling it a dealbreaker. Mel just chuckled and said "well good thing Bubba isn't on the board of directors." Of course dopey backpedaled on his comments and his face turned red when he realized he was humiliated in front of Mel Karmazin. And punt.

- When O&A first moved to NYC, they were met by the old guard of WNEW music jocks who hated their guts. The morning man Dave Herman in particular had it out for O&A for whatever reason. The guy played classic rock in the mornings, it's not like O&A were competing against him. So he tried to get O&A fired many times, and it never worked. Dave's wife Libby hated her husband and called O&A to reveal the sick stuff going on in his life. A few months later, not only did the station flip to all talk radio, not only did Herman get his ass fired, not only did O&A hit the #1 spot -- But a decade or so later it was revealed that Dave Herman was a disgusting pedophile who was raping toddlers, specifically going after a young mom and her 6 year old daughter, who turned out to be a sting operation thankfully. Suuure.

JV from JV and Elvis literally killed himself although its not like O&A made him do it.

When Jim Phillips claimed to be the number 1 talk show program on XM, to which O&A got Erik Logan on the phone to say he didn’t even know who the guy was, and that he paid XM for his show to be on there.

How about Jimmy hosting two sold out shows in Cleveland where he shat all over Maxwell, in his home state, to overwhelming applause, which was then played on the show. Not even a year later Maxwell got fired.

Still spreading the O&A virus

Jim Philips claimed O&A stole WOW from him. Pests harassed him until his radio manager told him he would be fired if he ever mentioned O&A on the air again because the Pests had broken their call system. Because his getting the attention of the Pests resulted in nonstop harassment from them including someone purchasing several thousand robo-calls to the station and the homes of a few employees. He sued O&A and sent them a cease and desist to get the callers to calm down and stop O&A from playing his show audio of Pests pranking him on air. Pests put a billboard outside of his office for a few weeks mocking him for it.

Dave Douglas became a manager at WAAF the week that O&A were hired, and kept trying to fire O&A from pretty much day one. He was hired to manage the show but hated their show and tried to get them removed rather than just resign himself. He did everything to ruin the program nonstop and lied to O&A about his intentions but it was obvious. Eventually he was fired, from nearly all radio, and had to work as a grocery store greeter to the delight of O&A including the fans who would call him 'Dave Dickless' to his face at the grocery store. He got a few jobs in radio but nothing close to working with a major show ever again. Douglas threatened to fire O&A for talking over the music and wanted Anthony to be transferred to another radio station. No one knows why he even worked in talk radio when he hated talk radio.

Rick Delgado was a producer for O&A during their early years. Opie dated his sister for a long time. He had a disastrous falling out with the show. Badmouthed everyone to the news, ripping on Jimmy as well, including a nasty personal falling out with Opie when his sister broke up with him. Eventually Rick would get a job at Hot97 in NYC as a producer for an all black morning show. He would produce the infamous 'tsunami song' for them including singing on it which would make international news. "Child slavery!". This would get him fired and blacklisted from almost every radio company for being an outrageous and offensive personality. Yet O&A played the song dozens of times on the air without consequence and endlessly goofed on him. He was the only person fired from the station over the song and scapegoated which was also hilarious.

Shannon Burke. Another Florida radio host douche. Claimed that XM fired and removed their simulcasts of various FM radio hosts because they were paying O&A too much and couldn't afford them all. O&A pests hijacked his phone lines to the point where he had to go without callers for an entire month. I think he was one of those jocks where they would block out of market phone numbers eventually to try to get the phones back online. A couple of years after the Pest attack this idiot was arrested for shooting his dog and his wife and was fired from whatever radio station he was on.

Scott Ferrall. Was a longtime friend of O&A. Joined Stern's channel for his own show just like Jim Breuer. But unlike Breuer who just did his show without ripping on O&A to kiss Howard's ass. Scott ended up shitting all over O&A at the behest of Stern. This resulted in the Pests shutting down his phone lines for his first month of shows and resulting in permanently damaging his show and reputation with Sirius and Stern. Ferrall rode out the rest of his contract and quietly left Sirius for CBS. Stern was livid that Scott had "lost a war" with O&A and it destroyed their relationship but Scott had another five years on his contract. That incident resulted in Stern having his lawyers draft something in the merger contract that forbid other stations from playing his audio. Yet the only station he was worried about was O&A. "The only station that really rocked!".

Tim Sabean. Corporate back office type. Worked on Stern, then O&A, then Stern again, then O&A again, then Stern yet again. Was fired every single time. Told O&A to their faces that they were the best radio show of all time, was a huge fan, wanted to make them huge everywhere. Quits and goes to work for Stern and says on air "O&A are just Stern clones, rip off act, never had any talent". Opie calls him up on air a few times and rips on him. Eventually after the merger they patch things up and hire Tim to work for them. This time Tim is told by Sirius-XM to fire either Opie or Anthony and split them up. He begins working to sabotage the show behind their backs. Anthony does his job for him by taking photos of scaffolding. Tim then returns to Stern's camp to work for him now that O&A are no longer a team. Howard congratulates Tim on getting Anthony fired by having Sirius not stick up for Anthony.

A few weeks (months?) later Sabean has a bout of explosive diarrhea in the private bathroom for executive Stern level staff. Stern hears that someone shit all over the floor and walls of the bathroom and is furious that his idiot employees are so low class when his Pelican Brief specifically told people to keep the office professional and in order. He demands to know who did it. Sabean is accused by a few people. This results in Stern looking for literally any excuse to fire Tim over being an embarrassment to his brand. Tim goes to Howard some time later and says he needs a week off because his parents are sick with cancer. Howard fires him on the spot for not clearing it with Marci Turk the office manager. This is Tim's reward for backstabbing O&A and being loyal to Howard. Loser. Tim is also the one who fired Artie and told him he was not welcome at Sirius and basically drove Artie into suicide a few hours later.

Honorary mention. There was a war between Don and Mike and O&A that also involved Stern and Sabean as well. That got ugly on all sides. But one day Don's wife was killed in a traffic accident. Opie called him off air and they never went at it on air again after that.

I definitely did jump on the train in 2010-11, I abandoned Stern after Artie left.
