Dog whistling originally meant someone doing a “wink wink nudge nudge” where everyone knows whats being implied and then it somehow turned into individual interpretation being what they’re saying. For example when Trump retardedly told the Proud Boys “stand by and stand back”. People were interpreting that as a “dog whistle” telling them to get ready to fight or some shit. When in reality it assumes too much of the guy and removes the context. In reality he was put on the spot and said something retarded which isn’t a new thing for him. What makes it a “dog whistle” is because he said “stand by”, before correcting it to “stand back”.

It’s like the idea of people implanting purposeful bullshit into verifiable conspiracies so you hear the bullshit and don’t think theres anything to everything else if that makes sense. People think the pee tape is bullshit so they think any ties between Trump and Russia is similar bullshit.
We’re still told he said “Nazi’s” were part of good people on both sides when he was discussing the peaceful protesters on both sides that were doing what they are legally allowed to do until a bunch of assholes turned the peaceful protest into a mess. Same with “he said all Mexicans are animals!” he was obviously talking about the violent criminals and gang members crossing the border illegally and committing crimes in America.
