I always thought it was just a shitty mash up of Edgar and Chip.
He brought it up a few times when it was branded as Opie Radio. I'm pretty sure you'll find him bring it up during the Esther Ku fight.WTF I never heard that before, even though I’ve been off the radar.

It should be in this one. If you’re too lazy to listen the general gist is that, responding to the “sharks in the aquarium” video Opie made, Jim just did a recap of their relationship explaining how they both knew they weren’t doing a good show together and that Jim’s standup was hurt being on O&J. Opie responded to this saying it’s bullshit or if it’s true Jimmys fault. Jimmy is this clip explains that what he meant was that his draw wasn’t as big as it used to be because the O&J show didn’t have the same audience size or interest as O&A.WTF I never heard that before, even though I’ve been off the radar.

Twitter is a great medium to do a bit based on how your character talks funny. Throwing in typos really sells the bit as well.
