If they would've just kept the show focused on Jimmy, Chuck, Howard etc. and all the legal stuff, I at least would've respected it as being its own thing if not loving it. The second they started with all the Breaking Bad fan service shit, including teasing Gus (I think at the end of season 3) and then making half the show about him and the cartel it......got lost

As everyone else is saying the legal side of the show is really good. S1-S6 would be perfect if they just focused on that shit because the dynamic between Jimmy and Chuck, then Jimmy and Kims relationship, then Howard, is all really interesting.
But of course, as I’ve said before, because it has to be fucking shlock they put Mike and the Cartel in. S1-S3 the Mike plots are that he sits in a car and comes up with a roadrunner scheme that gets less interesting upon rewatch. Then the S4-S6 Mike plots are just the most corny shit blowing up action movie shlock ever.
