I appreciate the IPA logic and I loved IPA's in college. But I can't do beer now. If I want to drink I want to get drunk. And if I'm getting drunk we're doing vodka or whisky. Getting drunk on IPA makes me feel like I just had 8 plates at a chinese buffet and gives me gout 1/3 times.

i'm gonna throw in carbs here. i feel like people who do these low carb/keto/carnivore diets are often fat people to begin with, and they lose a ton of weight because they cut out like 90% of the food they were previously eating and a byproduct of that is consuming less calories. 'keto face'? that's just called not being fat.
i don't know dick about nutrition but my guess is there's nothing wrong with a bowl of oatmeal and there is everything wrong with eating a pastry in the morning, a sub sandwich at lunch, and a roll of bread with your dinner in the evening. i'm not a fatfuck, so i will take the bread.
