Turning 10% of their youtube views (from one video) into paid subscribers seems extremely optimistic, I would say 1% is more realistic and even reaching that number would be very unlikely.

Apparent number for Anthony in the dying days of Compound was 5000 - 6000 people subscribed, it isn't just one video either, all Anthony & Jimmy content seems to do good from the O&A days to Compound days to current days.

I think they're good for 12.4k subscribers, maybe I'm wrong though.

Neither Ant nor Jim have any work ethic. Disregard all the other things people already mentioned and you still would have two guys that don’t do show prep, can’t be bothered to record three shows a week, and probably wouldn’t hire anyone that could effectively organize it all for them.

Yeah admittedly this could be a massive issue, they would need to be motivated to be successful if they wanted it to last longer than a month or two.

Secondly, Aintfunny just divested all interest (aka got bailed out of a failed venture by Gavin) of his free speech shit talk network. He just said the other day that he just wants to go online 3 days a week and ramble about them.

He used to nap in studio and sleep in every day. Opie would be required to set things up and make them tick, but of course none of them appreciated this in the beginning, and thus then the fall.

The numbers are based off of 12,400 people paying 15 bucks a month, I've removed an estimate on what they'd pay in tax and necessary YouTube overhead. 1500 dollar a week figure for a producer comes from what the Compound producers were getting paid to do TACS.

I'll take your word on what Nana said however if the opportunity came up to make over half a million a year with Jimmy I'm sure he'd take it at this point unless he really genuinely can't just watch his mouth no matter what. As for Jim, him and Thor (From a recent video it seemed to mostly be Jimmy) already seem to be doing a lot of work to try and launch their YouTube career. Why not pump that time and effort into something you know will be more financially beneficial and something that your fanbase would be way more receptive to?
