It's the only bad part of having a pet. Mine just turned 12 and she's looking old. Found her outside as a kitten. Only cat I've ever had and I'll be crushed when that day finally comes. Sorry about your cat. 15 is a good life but it's still way too short.

I had a cat growing up that lived to be 19, near the end it couldn’t move its back legs which was sad. My mom had found the cat as a kitten near her place and took it in. My parents named it “Burgess” after the actor Burgess Meredith because the cat was a little tough guy like Mickey in the Rocky movies.
