Mr. Tomlinson has just threatened Leslie Varney, a female publisher whom he has been attacking on Twitter from behind a block for more than a year, to be sued into poverty with a lawsuit that will presumably be funded by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
- Mr. Tomlinson's 2021 lawsuit was funded in secret by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, a 501(c)(3) charity, to the tune of $100,000 without the knowledge or consent of their donors or members. They also agreed to pay any sanctions in case he lost (which he did).
- All parties involved signed NDAs so that the general public would never know.
- To this day, SFWA has never acknowledged its funding of the lawsuit, and actively instructs the few people in the know to ignore all inquiries into it.
- Is the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America funding Mr. Tomlinson's lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police? If they are, the general public probably wouldn't know due to their history of funding expensive lawsuits in secret.
- You can use IRS form 3949-A to report SFWA's activity if you reasonably believe that it is illegal for a 501(c)(3) charity to secretly fund frivolous nuisance lawsuits for one of its members.

Also you can tell how completely unphased he is by what's going on. That's a huge sign that he's got something to do with this on its own. You can tell he's just happy to be able to respond "you did this". No real stalking victim who's been swatting would be an nonchalant as this.
He's clearly up to something and at this point and I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if he's reached a point of derangement that he's self-swatting himself to force the police to pay attention to him.

Probably making the whole panel about him, "SEE?!?! Right now, one of my cyberstalkers is texting me, see what I'm talking about now?!" while everyone wonders what's wrong with him.
You know, I feel like this point isn't emphasized enough, this really should be brought up more. Pat is a lot of terrible things, but most of those terrible things are fat.
He struggles with object permanence and thinks whoever is texting him is guilty of swatting him, and also every other crime (real or made up) against. Even if he didn't swat himself and the person who swatted him is actually someone who texts him, it can't be everyone who texts him.
He really thinks he’s getting Paul worked up.
The difference is that there is a recording of him actually seething.
