On console you have to tweak some of the default settings for Witcher 3 but yes, I can highly recommend it too.

My issue with that game is on Sony. I get it on disk for PS4. A few years later you can buy a digital sale version of it that has both DLC. So I buy that. I start up my game and fucking Sony can't see my original Witcher 3 save because it's for the fucking disk. I can start the DLC with a new character. So I never got to play the DLC which I hear was amazing.

I enjoy the new Zelda games, a huge world to waste time in while getting drunk. The best part is stealing from those jap kike bastards at Nintendo and playing them on PC. The new doom games are fun. Ultrakill is wild but by the time I get around to playing it I'm usually tanked and can't focus.

Gaming died for me when everybody became obsessed with massive open world games.

“It’s good because it’s big!” “The sequel is even bigger!!!!!”

They are so boring. Then literally every game made was just objectively bad in any genre. For a while you could avoid it by just playing multiplayer pvp but then they introduced true skill 2.0 which made them completely joyless experiences where the system predetermines winners to keep everyone at a 50% win/loss ratio.

I loved quake and unreal tournament, then there was knights of the old republic, then there was halo 2 and 3 , modern warfare, bioshock, fallout, borderlands. It felt like there was always something fun or interesting on a release schedule.

All things must pass, even when indie devs make interesting shit they almost never make money to keep them alive.

That's why I liked Hitman, even if they lost the plot a couple times. Closed world and multiple ways to finish.
