If he is telling the truth. He’s though sheer luck comfortably middle class without doing anything for it, and doesn’t want to rock the boat or think about what life is like for people who actually have to earn things seeing it all crumble and degrade through incompetent governments who hate them.
I think a fair compromise is to stop sending any migrants to the same deprived areas who have had to absorb them for decades, and only send them to the middle class and rural rich areas which never have to deal with any bedsides successful doctors etc and to finally test their principles. Start building immigration centres in country parks and little rich sleepy towns for once.

Buying property in 2008 right after the world's economy and housing market crashes has nothing to do with luck. It's taking advantage of the markets. You'd have to say the same about everyone who ever started a business; are they lazy for taking advantage of the market too, or is there a mental strain to investing in something out your own pocket?
Renting out accomodation isn't money for nothing. It's a fucking ballache, more so now than it was 15 years ago because of Covid, social media and cost of living. Tenants can do whatever they want and you have little to no legal recourse against them here. It's kind of annoying getting phone calls telling you to replace a boiler at a moment's notice because some retard doesn't understand gas pressure.
