Miracle berry is pretty weird.

You chew on it for a bit, then you drink lemon juice and it tastes sweet. Like, literally I was checking the ingredients on the bottle because I was SURE it must have sugar in it. Then you try vinegar and it tastes alright. Everything else tastes odd.

It's a bit of a one-trick pony.

I think they're expired but I have some Miracle Berry tablets around somewhere. You can eat a lemon (tastes very nice actually), red wine tastes like grape juice, beer tastes like a weird soda... it's interesting to experiment with.

The best result was Guinness, which tasted like a chocolate/coffee milkshake.

I think they're a good idea for someone who craves sweets but doesn't want (a lot of) sugar. You could take a tablet, squeeze lemon or lime into cold sparkling water BOOM you're not being a fatso for once dude.
