usually don't care about the woke stuff, but the fact that every major white character has a black love interest was definitely distracting.

Besides that though it's pretty typical Hollywood slop. Production, costume and set design is all pretty top notch, but the constant marvel movie humor ruins the tone and the story itself is uninspired and not great. Can definitely pass on it but if you're having a couple drinks and have nothing better to watch, it's alright I guess.

I liked the Silent Hill movie when it came out. I also never played Silent Hill, so that probably helped.

I liked the sequel, it seemed more faithful to the game than the first movie with changing everything. Can’t have a little girl being used in a cult ritual by her mother and she can’t be searched for by her loving dad so we’ll change those, add horseshit about coal miners and shoehorn pyramid head in where he doesn’t belong.
