Its funny that Outback steakhouse does a better steak than Texas Roadhouse. I think Ive eaten ant texas roadhouse twice and both times I was underwhelmed. Its been at least 10 years since and I can only imagine how shit it is now.

Yeah out of the two I would prefer outback over roadhouse but I’ve rarely seen a roadhouse that doesn’t do well - I see them packed most of the time.

I think Outback has the best free bread, that pumpernickel with whipped butter is great.

Texas Roadhouse is TOO GOD DAMN FUCKING LOUD. Fat people and their fat children playing video games, grunting & groaning, yelling over the music. Because when I want to eat I want to hear CAUSE I DUG MY KEY INTO THE SIDE OF HIS PRETTY LITTLE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. I’ll never go back.

I’d rather get a steak & eggs at a shitty quiet diner.

Didn't have Lonestar, but we had Longhorn Steakhouse which was terrible.

Outback isn't great, but as far as chain steakhouses go it's eatable. Their burgers and steaks are actually pretty decent

I ate at an outback like four months ago when visiting my family and it was pretty crummy, but i got a au jus french dip sandwich so maybe more the fool am i. Fredericksburg is like the nexus of shitty steak chains, every single one is there and they're all within 20 feet of each other. Would have rather gone to the waffle house and gotten a patty melt and some hashbrowns with chili on em

I was visiting socal for work around 15 years ago and there was this place called Lucilles Smokehouse that wasnt bad for a chain restaurant. I havent seen another one near where I live so Im assuming its a california chain. Had a good house BBQ sauce. They would smoke the meat on site. I hear its gone down hill around the pandemic or maybe a couple years before but when I tried it, it exceeded my expectations.

The actual real "city" part of Fredericksburg is a nice little historical town, but that godforsaken "Central Park" area has been a poorly laid out hellhole for as long as I've been alive

I don't love it, but I have a buddy who does so we go there once every three months at noon on a Saturday, fill up on steaks and beers, and blow each other in the back of his Jeep.

Yes, Lucille’s did go to shit during the pandemic, sadly. They had a great happy hour I used to love walking over to after work.

They had good ribs back in the day the trailblazers had a post game show from the location in pdx we had season tickets so I would beg my dad to go over there even though he had work in the morning.

I got a nice little lunch steak at Outback a few weeks ago, I don't know what they put on the aussie fries but them shits is delicious. I've been surrounded by jigs so much lately that I'm starting to talk like one. No jigs at outback that I remember.

I have a crow that found my cherry tree this year. He has been squawking up a storm this last week. He wont even bother coming near me since there is so many cherries where he hangs out.

I recently learned that blue jays are corvids. That's why their main sound is that shrill squawk that sounds like a crow with less balls. They wake me up daily.
