My dad is retired and pretty well crippled now so he spends a lot of his time firing off complaint letters that will never get read lol. The last one I heard about he sent one to some baseball historian guy to redo the Ty Cobb part of his series. He explains that and then he's like "No response" like the guy's dodgin' him.

He actually always did that shit though. He'd get pissed off when certain commercials would come on because he hated their spokesmen and would send them stern but very professional letters about them. The Lillydale Chicken guy (because he hated his accent), Subway Jared (because my dad immediately called him a pedophile the very first time he saw him, I'm not kidding), and the one Canadian Tire guy (also called a pedophile). He's still pretty sure he's responsible for getting the Canadian Tire guy and the Lillydale Chicken guy canned. When it came out that Jared was a horrible monster my dad was like "I fucking told EVERYBODY."

My friend gets sent coupons for free instant oatmeal (I think) for life because wrote a complaint email to Quaker Oats about their declining quality when he was a little kid lol. He's got a contact at Quaker in case he moves. Basically all he eats is oatmeal and Boost meal replacement like a 90 year old.
