That’s right Pat - everyone knows the strength and condition coach is how you win super bowls.

He really knows nothing about sports. All teams have issues with injuries - but the good one figure it out and don’t use it as an excuse. I guess Pat isn’t aware of the long dynasty in New England where they had multiple players get hurt in the season only to have someone just as good - or even better waiting to take their spot. Tom
Brady might have never become a household name and legend in the game if Drew Bledsoe didn’t get hurt. Also Nick Foles won a Super Bowl as a back up QB - but sure pig - teams never win working through injuries.

There's a sliver of an almost point there, but this fatso would never be able to articulate it. Just like there are players that are better than others there are front offices that are better and there are medical staffs that are better or worse.

I don't know football as well as basketball or baseball but I assume these things translate over well enough. Coaching and medical decisions can certainly have an impact. Derek rose and other have stated that he may not have had his knee injury if Thibodeau wasn't running him into the ground. Kobe's achilles injury was likely due to playing through other injuries. Maybe Santana was done when he pitched his no hitter for the mets, but Terry collins has said that he thinks leaving him in to finish it was a mistake.

Going back to Rose, the strength and condition coaches should have taught him better jumping and landing technique. He was landing awkwardly and that also contributed to his injuries, but maybe they tried and he was the star/mvp and he said fuck off.

Teams have a shit load of doctors, physios, massage therapists, nutritionists, and whoever else to maintain player health, but this fat loser thinks swapping out the S&C coach will make some kind of noticeable difference. The Packers were pretty middle of the road in man games lost anyway. He can’t even get that right.

Also, football is an inherently dangerous sport. It’s pretty amazing that more guys aren’t getting serious injuries. The average person would be in the hospital for a week after absorbing one tackle from a linebacker.

He just sees a guy getting fired and thinks “good!” like the negative prick he is. He probably didn’t even know the guy existed until he saw that tweet. I would bet he’s never mentioned that guy or anything about too many injuries at any point before then.

And what the fuck does he mean “could have been prevented?” In what way? I would love him to point some injuries out that could have been prevented. Christian Watson and his recurring hamstring injury? Same guy who had same issues in college? David Bakhtiari and his chronic back problems? Jaire Alexander rolling his ankle? How the fuck would he know what injuries are preventable?

His retardation consistently astounds me.

The offensive / defense coordinators would have a much larger impact on teams winning than a strength and conditioning guy. You can have good players but if you got guys calling shitty plays that leave people open you’re not gonna win. Look at the complete collapse of the eagles - now they having to shuffle all those type guys around. He’s a self proclaimed huge sports fan that doesn’t even understand the basics.

Agreed and I would argue the coaching staff has a potentially larger negative impact on player health than the S&C as well. They play the guys, manage their snaps, play them through injuries when they can, leave them in games too long, etc.

S&C coaches give workout advice and keep track of each player's weight. The medical staff are going to be dealing with injuries and prevention. Pig would know that if he ever spent one minute involved in a sport, but instead he played with toys and grew fat tits.

Strength and conditioning coaching in the gym has fuck all to do with on field injuries you fat fucking retard. Its the athletic trainers not warming players up through proper range of motion exercises and increasing flexibility through the right stretching protocols during practice and warm ups that are at fault. Sports Pat fucking stinks and just as fat as all of his other characters. Also this fuck was canned for the poor conditioning of the defense that faultered in the 4th quarter

Fucking retard. Players contracts literally tell them to bring every concern to staff, including fucking hangnails. Nobody wants to lose, but without guaranteed money NFL teams do let guys risk injuries with minor ailments getting worse, that's the coaching, front office, and medical staff not the strength and conditioning guy making them calls. He just needs to be heard, our wise pig.

The guy went to HS powerhouse, Air Force, and played for the Packers too. Meanwhile an obese man nearly dead of heart disease who was writing the packers off 3 weeks into the season while worshipping the nigger QB, with zero sports playing history, a 1.2 GPA and no knowledge is commenting like his opinion matters. Unfucking real.

They have a decent impact in pro sports (moreso with recovery), however, for a variety of reasons, they're absolutely essential in CFB. They're probably the 2nd most important factor for teams that have college football playoff/championship aspirations.

How is a a strength and conditioning coach responsible for injuries? Does he think he's been conditioning them with weekly beatings
its a tenuous correlation at best but it is there. Muscle imbalances, instability etc lead to injury over time. These guys also have to stay in shape while not getting injured lifting during the season. So there's a very slight correlation.
