The worst things Opie is guilty of were:
1) Being shitty to his staff
2) Being corny and disruptive

The old sub switched to Opie love from Opie hate because it was overcompensating. Both extremes are wrong.

If Opie didn’t yell “hold on, hold on” during bits in order to set up all of the unfunny callers he would probably have much more love. Still, he was the glue and captain that made O&A function so I got love for him. Opie focused Cumia & Norton on topics and kept shit moving, unlike the shit fests Norton & Cumia currently produce. They all needed each other, but Cumia REALLY needed the Opester more than he will admit. Opie wins in the end.
