Exactly. He's so stupid and emotion-driven that he acts like Putin gave every Russian a referendum on whether or not they should invade Ukraine and they returned a 100% "yes." Like you said, these were just normal people going out to enjoy themselves and their last moments were blind terror, pain and death. Don't know why any of us are surprised though. Dude was a double agent since the 80’s but after the USSR broke up he stopped contacting them due to fear in the political upheaval his identity would be blown. By the 2000’s he thought it would be safe to contact Russia and, no joke, he approached a KGB agent in a parking garage and used his codename and showed him materials. The KGB agent just drove off and reported it to the American side of things because he literally thought he was being “trolled”. And the Americans thought THEY were being trolled so they didn’t even investigate the claims lol.
