In 2011 they went full corporate diversity hire watchmojo disney bullshit mode and I stopped watching, but I still had nostalgia for like 2008 when it was just a bunch of dudes being guys.

But upon revisiting, even the dudes being guys stuff was shit. They all are unfunny nerds with bad chemistry. I think my younger self just enjoyed Halo and Xbox too much.

I think I do look down on men who are still into the same shit they liked when they were.... let's say 16 or younger. You're supposed to lose your virginity somewhere between 16 and 24. You're supposed to discover girls and drugs and partying and that's the good stuff. Why are you nostalgic for anything you did before 16?

Sometimes I'll look at a video of a computer game, or a Lego set, or some old TV programme and get an intense feeling of nostalgia that lasts about 2 seconds and reminds me of how it feels to be a child. But it's only 2 seconds.

I'm not going to collect unopened Lego boxes or comic books as an adult.

Video game collectors love to go on and on about how valuable a game is, only for it to be worth less than half of a McDonald's paycheck. There are very, very few games aside from arcade ones that are worth over a thousand dollars.

I guess that just tacitly displayed how I have dabbled in the video game collectors scene, and I can confirm that it is obscenely gay.
