If you’re putting out music based on fan feedback it’s time to stop making music. That results in absolute horseshit.

I hate when bands remain the same sound at 60 as they did at 20.

Some can pull it off like Rammstein for an example but for the most part, it’s good to change and piss your fans off, in terms of quality of music.

It’s the same shit as keep making comic book movies and sequels. Create something unique or don’t bother.

Rap ages much more poorly than rock and roll did. Some dipshit kid can rediscover an old band like Zeppelin or Sabbath, as it's not filled with dated references that make no sense out of context. But old rap just sounds like old rap.

Zeppelin and Sabbath are very much of their time, just as much as rap. There is no such thing as timeless music. You don't hear The Entertainer or Johnny B. Goode and confuse it for something you'd hear black dudes composing today.
