What a piece of shit with that funerals for miscarriages line. Pat must not know anyone who had a miscarriage because it’s a very painful event and while they might now have a “funeral” many women will have some private burial of their baby that didn’t make it. This might be one of the most insensitive and asshole things he’s ever said.

He really deserves to have a miserable life, I hope some women call him out for that miscarriage line. I’ve had family members have them and it’s such a painful thing to lose a baby. He’s acting like woman who get pregnant don’t care about it until they give birth which shows how deranged he is, he def is a sociopath and really needs a long overdue ass kicking.

I really can’t believe he said that, remember the growing “life” in Ade’s body? No wonder he had no problem abandoning his daughter, he only cares about himself to say a miscarriage isn’t a baby. I work with someone who had one recently and it really messed her up because she was pregnant and excited only to lose it. Seriously, Pat is a lunatic.

The lesson he'll never learn is he doesn't have the answers, because he sees one perspective: Patrick the genius. He thinks empathy is solving a puzzle, trying to figure out how blacks think about police shootings, how trans people feel about Dave Chappelle, and once he "solves the puzzle", he wants to share his wisdom on their behalf.

Empathy isn't a game, it's not a puzzle to solve, because you don't always win. I genuinely have no idea how it feels to be a black person doing whatever, maybe being a bit too loud at a party, and having some Karen drop the hard-r bomb while looking you dead in the eyes. I imagine it'd be unpleasant, but that's a conversation where I should listen instead of waiting until my turn to speak and say how it really is. But he can't listen because he has to win, and to win he has to tell everyone his side, even when nobody wants it.

Miscarriages are different on a case to case basis, but worst case they fuck up the mother emotionally. Badly. I understand why, but I'm not a baby factory, so I'll never truly get it. The absolute disrespect of a straight white dude to mansplain how nobody considers a miscarriage a legitimate child, fuck you're right. This might be one of the most insensitive and asshole things, ever. This could really blow up if the right feminist gets pissed off.

You didn’t lose a baby, it was just a fetus! That’s not a baby!” Mind you, a MAN is saying this. This is everything his types claim as toxic and “mansplaining”

This shows not only he’s a heartless monster and sociopath but also that he doesn’t actually know any women. I’ve had family members that have had miscarriages and it’s very painful and have memorials for it. Might not be an actual funeral but the woman will do something private for the child they’ll never meet. He’s such a self-centered piece of shit he can’t understand someone caring for anyone else. They tell women to not officially tell their families and all until 3 months in case they miscarriage but that doesn’t mean it’s not a baby. I know of some family and friends that have miscarriages but I’m sure many more have had them yet keep it private because it’s a painful experience to be excited for a child only to lose it.

This is the true Pat, love to hear Hilde defend this. Not even the woman upset over roe Vs Wade would agree with this
