Nice antique typewriter. Another toy for his LARP as a writer.

Fatso would need to have his hovel designated a "Historical Landmark" for it to actually have legitimate "historical" status. He just uses that word because it sounds much nicer than "meager income neighborhood full of broken down rental homes and Section 8 housing, on a bus line, complete with ShotSpotters".

It is historical because it was built in the historical period before Milwaukee became a nog infested shithole, child.

Even in this low res screenshot I can see the horrible patch job he did with that spackle. Looks like he globbed too much in some areas and not enough in others, especially the left side. I still see the outline of the hole that was there. I wonder what the finished job looks like.
In some of the pictures he's posted you can see in the background just how bad of a job they've done patching and painting throughout the hovel. Maybe archive brotherman @Slackjawed Cow has some, but yeah every "restoration" they've done looks like shit.

There is something with zoning that claims it a historical area which should cause problems if running business out of it

Yeah but at least there's not a thousand exposed electrical wires on the outside of the house.

Stop acting like anyone here is saying she should have spent it all. You could spend $3k or less and replace the linoleum and counter tops, paint the cabinets and change the hardware and paint the wall and it would be a massive improvement. Someone with $80k+ in the bank would absolutely do something like that, not just buy a scratch and dent open box fridge from some local discount store and garage sale Mustang posters.
Absolutely, I live in a Menards area and an Ollie's area you could get loose lay vinyl floor for like 79 cents a linear foot on 12 foot rolls and make that kitchen floor look 20x better in 4 hours. Go to the re(tarded)store and get some kitchen cabinets for 2-500 bucks get rid of the 80's melimene ones and hang them in 4 hours A new sink and faucet for 200 bucks, a proper diswasher for 4-500 and countertops for that small area for like under 500 easy. That whole kitchen would just look cleaner and nicer for under 3k. Same with the bathroom, ditch the tub get a full length pan and surround, vinyl flooring again, all for cheap. Patch all the cracks maybe go for a rough surface look on the walls if there's still settling going on. redo the floors. There's a lot 15-20k could do inside the 4 walls and don't even get me started outside. It's not the worst place and it's livable, but it's for a young couple that wants to own and just save for the next place and not burn rent, not 2 people who are mid 40s. They're bums.

What’s the hovel valued at? Paid off? Heloc?
Dude. It's already been explained many times they only have a mortgage on that shithole because they couldn't qualify anywhere else. They were renters, and the owner let them finance through him so he could sell off all of his rental shitholes there and move out of state. They also allegedly took out a loan against the mortgage, but don't know if that's confirmed.

Hey! Just because you don't make your house you own any nicer, at all, and continue to live in what looks like every frat house you'd visit on any campus in America

Yeah I'm not really buying this whole "um sweetie, the private chat has figured out Lynne pays for everything" explanation when his finances have been a huge mystery this entire time. We've decided Niki's dad was broke when he died because of a vanity license plate. We've decided if Niki had money she would have remodeled the kitchen because that's very important to the 50-65 demographic.

Show me financial paperwork (like with Jackie) or I'll keep speculating. For all we know, he might have conned some civil rights organization into funding this lawsuit against the MPD like he did with SFWA.
It’s all speculation, but he did seem dumbfounded by the idea of someone having $17 thousand lying around. He also admitted through text to a person he thought was attacked by stlakers through a contact form that he and Nikki did not have $30-something thousand (I forget the exact value at that point).
