They make money but they hide many half empty events by tightening the camera on the ring, and now AEW is the first competition they've had since dubya cee dubya. I don't follow this shit anymore, but there is a few big channels I follow and there's been shit going around for at least a year now that McMahon was looking to sell.

They recently let go a lot of people and even they've been quoted as saying they think Vince is cashing out.
