I can't disagree with most of what you said, but let me refine my take. Here people dunk on Pat and nobody thinks they're inferior to him. And he goes out of his way to be a flaming asshole.

That reddit hate sub is a bunch of people who know they're inferior to Ali and her husband. Not one of them is as pretty as she is and not one has a husband as decent seeming as him. Their hatred is envy. And unlike Pat, they don't try to antagonize anyone. They don't prison or child anyone and they don't seem like the type to have an ongoing conversation with their toilet.
